A New Year, a fresh start. I have started this update several times in the past few months, and with the New Year upon us I guess it's time to finally get it done.

Following the events of September 11th, I have been questioning what I could possibly write to update this issue of the Delescope.

There has been so much written and so much coverage in the Media, there seems little more to add. Many Alumni have posted messages and are circulating comments, opinions and pictures on the web.

As a community, Delehanty Alumni have expressed sadness, sympathy, anger, and outrage. But underlying these emotions is the clear determination that these tragic events will not, and can not, take away the rights and freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

The events of 9/11 and subsequent events have effected us all. Some more then others, but we have all had to deal with it in some way.
