I
served in the Army for three years and was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska.
After being discharged in 1962 I went to work for Metallurigal Processing
in Syosset, NY and worked there for fifteen years before I went to work
at Burton Industries. I retired from there three years ago and was the
head of the Shipping Department and Quality Control.

As I stated I worked as the Head of Quality Control and Shipping Department for a large Mettalurgical Plant. I also worked for 25 years at Roosevelt Raceway as a Pari-Mutual Clerk | |

At present we have two dogs, a Beagle named Maggie and a Beagle-Yorkie Mix called LuLu. | |

Mt. Gilead, NC. on Lake Tillery. We love it. You can't beat the weather and the views. We are in the Uharrie National Forrest and love all the wild life and birds that live here. | |

I love to fish, and boating. We enjoy our pontoon boat. We love going out for a picnic supper and watching the sun set, as well as our ski boat and taking all the family out water skiing and tubing. We also love to wet bike. It is so calm after dinner and we love to go out on the clear blue lake for a ride. Also being active in the Knights of Columbus as well traveling and visiting all our families. | |

We love our retired life. We are glad that we are relatively healthy. Few problems here and there, but then don't we all. I am looking forward to seeing all my classmates again. They were wonderful years. |
