Mr. Servillo, Mr. Darmento in Latin Class, Ms. Salvati, Mr. Cinelli, Miss Reilly in Geography, Mr G, Mrs. Cunningham, Mrs. Maloney - Glee Club and plays, Mr. Dobbins, Mr Kelly, Madame DuBalla in French, and so on. I hated math class but enjoyed History, Latin, and French. Enjoyed exploring the stores on Jamaica Ave. The boat ride to Rye. What ever happened to "half moon"? Remember drivers ed and the pick up at the LIRR station. They would sometimes squeeze 6 to 8 of us in those white 4 door 65 Chevrolet BelAires. My son tells me that I sounded real boreing when I went to DHS. Probably so, but I did have a great sense of humor. Still do.
